  1. Yay!! I’ve been on my email like white on rice waiting to see what’s up with this give away!! I coyld totally use a new sewing machine, & Janome(!) wow! Not to mention im addicted to Anne Maria AND Valori Wells! Count me in girl!! Woohoo ;D

  2. I’m so very glad for the time before this. I’ve written a note to myself to finish 3 projects on my list so that I have the time for this QAL!

  3. Wow! This looks excellent! I don’t think I could commit to a whole quilt but a pillow or doll quilt sounds great! It’s so beautiful!

  4. I don’t have a blog. Could I still win? Who picks the winners and when would they be announced? Are there criteria for a winning design? Thanks!

  5. Serendipity – I just attempted to download this pattern (couldn’t) so now have an incentive to try again! This is awesome.

  6. Florence Carrano

This looks lovely! I wish I could be part of the QAL, but I will be having shoulder surgery at the end of May and won’t be able to move my arm for 6 weeks afterwards :-( . However, I will sew this beauty eventually! Thanks for the pattern:-)

  7. oh la la….i will definitely be doing this quilt along…i have just got my left hand out of a splint…finally i can sew again. This quilt i have beend roolign over and only stumbled here by chance….thank you.
    I will be there

  8. Well I hope I don’t need a blog to do this. And PHEW I am finishing up one quilt with AMH fabrics, and at the beginning of a quilt for my MIL (luckily I don’t need THAT done til Christmas!) So since the prices are so darn mouthwatering, I’m downloading the pattern and going to give this a shot!

  9. This quilt is fabulous. I am definitely going to QAL. Can’t wait for the first post!!!

  10. The quilt is beautiful! I would love to join the fun. I’m new to quilting and could use some help choosing fabric.

  11. WOW, Love this idea – haven’t done one online before, but I’m gonna try it! Love to travel with my Janome 760 (I use it as a carry-on when I’m flying)…would love to have another Janome in my collection!! Thanks!

I down loaded the Patchwork Prism pattern from the Janome web site a few days ago. I am excited to be part of the on-line group to make it I taught my self to quilt years ago and have never stopped. I know I will learn new techniques with thiis group. Just let me know when we start.

  13. I am in!! I’m just getting started at quilting, and I’ve definitely never done a QAL, and this looks like a fun project!

  14. This will be my first qal :) It’s so fun to try new patterns and this will be a great piece for our new house — I wanted to do something that would incorporate lots of colors! I’ll be able to use up lots of bits and pieces left over from other projects, plus some great fabrics I haven’t known quite what to do with. Let the fun begin!

  15. Thanks for your gracious reply. Just want you to know that even though I don’t have a blog, I do have a flikr account – and so, I think I’m in. I’m working out the possible colors and layout only in my head at this point, but vroom vroom! Here I go! Thanks for hosting the QAL – my first ever. Couldn’t think of a better design to start with! :-)

  16. Love the idea, LOVE my new Janome Horizon 7700QCP that my husband bought me for our 30th wedding anniversary last week!!! I will be making this lovely project on it. Great way to become better aquainted with my machine. Thanks so much for the opportunity to QAL.

  17. wow…. :) so….. well….. I love this quilt and, you know, the end-day of qal, 26June, is my birthday, really! :) so, it will be my challenge! (I never did such kind of things, but always dreamed about….)
    let’s see!
    thank you,
    hugs from Russia,
    Masha

  18. Love the quilt along! I am way too excited about this. Question: Does the quilt have to be quilted by the June 26th deadline or can I submit just the quilt top? I usually send my quilt to a long arm quilter for that step. Thanks!

  19. it is indeed a beeeeeyooootiful quilt and I would love to QAL .. I might just be a bit tardy! I could so do with a new machine. My vintage machine broke last week (my real workhorse) and the Brother is just puttling along like a toy! It would be a nice bonus, but really the quilt in itself would be a good prize!

  20. I saw this quilt a couple weeks ago and usually I see these qals long after the fact so excited I found this one in time to actually participate in my first qal.

  21. I would love to join in this QAL. I too will be a little late getting started. Am looking forward to this as a new adventure!!!

  22. That is one gorgeous quilt and a QAL sounds interesting. I’ll be back to learn more, thank you!

  23. This will probably win the prize for dumb questions, but do I have to use AMH fabrics to participate?

  24. Okay. Just found this. Haven’t tried anything like this before. Will use my new machine, learn my new machine, and maybe accomplish something. Sounds like fun.

  25. Is this open to international? I’ll probably give it a go anyway, but will be later rather than during the time for this if not open to international. I’ll have to go with stash either way.

  26. Just wondering HOW we actually sign up? Or we just post pics on the Flickr group or what? Unsure…Thanks!

  27. This looks like amazing fun! Are there are more nitty gritty details we need to know to sign up?
    Thanks!

  28. I’ve never used a template for a quilt, but this one is so beautiful, I think I will join!

  29. I would love to win a new sewing machine. I try to sew everyday and mine could use a rest. Love your blog.

  30. My youngest (10) is getting soooo excited to start our quilt! We’re headed out to pick up a few last minute fat quarters so we can finish cutting and start laying out our pattern =)

  31. I have just stumbled across your QAL and blog at the same time, this sounds like fun. I have lots of batiks that I could use for it, if only I had time. Let’s see if I can fit it in… Thanks
