retro flower qal

today’s the BIG day! are you ready to join megan of city stitches and me on a little qal adventure? i’m sure you’ve seen christina of the sometimes crafter’s retro flower pattern.

well, if you haven’t, you’re missing out…until now. :) over the next 8 weeks, megan and i will be hosting a qal of the retro flower pattern on our blogs. eeeekkkk! this is going to be so much fun!

to get you started you will need:

the pattern {can be purchased at the sometime’s crafter, here}
the acrylic templates {can be purchased at jill of made on main street’s etsy shop, here}
28mm rotary cutter
self-healing cutting mat
invisi-grip by omnigrid {to put on the back of your acrylic templates to keep them from slipping around}
freezer paper {if you want to cut them out the old fashion way}
pencil {for tracing the pattern onto the freezer paper}
paper scissors {for cutting out the templates}
fabric scissors {for cutting out the templates if using freezer paper}
